We are running the business under the name of CV. KRUENG JAYA. Krueng Jaya is a company that is produces mangrove charcoal and runs a general trading. Krueng Jaya is a growing company and started it's operation in 1987 from a very small home industry. By having good work and ability owen by the employees, the company got a loan from PT.Bank Mandiri (Persero) . For expansion of it's business. By This loan, the company established a koperasi unit desa (local cooperative unit).
This unit is for collecting farming products from the local people and from some transmigration area nearby, such as betel nuts, cocos, coffee and ginger.
After that the company established a cooperative work with a famous oil company called ASMERA OIL and Gulf Resource CO., LTD. This cooperative work is tightened by a contract in supplying articles (goods) needed by the company such as tractors, radiators machineries and other heavy tools.
In 1991 Krueng Jaya is trusted by the people, as a result, the cooperative which buys and collects the mangrove charcoal from the folk industry to market the products out of Aceh Region. Because of it's honesty and hard working ,Krueng Jaya established trade relationship with some importers companies in overseas to export it's products to overseas countries such as European Countries, Middle-East and Eastern Asia.
In order to support its business, Krueng Jaya has some supporting facilities such as the area of mangrove forest about 500 hectare, completed by the government documents. For the smoothness of sending the goods, the company has 5 boats for carrying the goods through the nearby river to the place of mangrove processing By having 300 coke ovens and each oven consists of 20 MT mangroves for 45 days of processing.
The oven are placed near the street. Three units of tronton-truck are used to carry the products to the warehouse where the charcoals are placed in packing performances width of the warehouse is about 1 hectare support 200 workers and complete warehouse facilities. These facilities are given to the members of cooperative and are coordinated by the company.
